We’re recruiting a compassionate, creative Speech-Language Pathologist for a pediatric outpatient practice in the Jacksonville area. This is an opportunity to make a difference for children and families while working in an environment that values connection, fresh ideas and professional collaboration.
• $42–$45 per completed billable hour; evaluations paid at the same rate as treatment.
• $100 documentation stipend per biweekly payroll period.
• Each biweekly payroll period includes 1 paid hour for cleaning, 30 paid minutes for planning, and an additional paid administrative allocation for evaluation documentation.
• One week of annual PTO, Christmas week off, and 7+ holidays depending on the calendar year; details of paid leave can be discussed during interviews.
• 401(k) with 3% employer match.
• $200 annual continuing education allowance and professional license renewal reimbursement.
• Optional supplemental dental and vision coverage through Aflac; health insurance is not offered.
• One-on-one pediatric therapy in a supportive outpatient setting
• Close-knit interdisciplinary team with strong therapist retention
• Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs welcome
• Initial maternity leave coverage with potential for longer-term employment
Join approximately 12 speech, occupational and physical therapists in a friendly, family-centered clinic. The team values clinical judgment, creativity and collaboration, and therapists typically stay for 3–5 years. The ideal clinician enjoys building relationships with families and working alongside colleagues from multiple disciplines.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide engaging, evidence-informed treatment for pediatric speech, language and communication needs.
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions and maintain timely documentation.
• Partner with caregivers to support carryover of skills at home.
• Coordinate with other therapy disciplines to provide thoughtful, individualized care.
The clinic serves patients from birth through age 21, primarily ages 2–8, including children with speech and language delays, autism and early-intervention needs. Treatment is one-on-one, without overlapping appointments. Most speech sessions last 30 minutes, with some 60-minute sessions depending on clinical needs and insurance requirements. Expect approximately 10–13 back-to-back patient appointments daily; historical attendance is around 85–90%.
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Structured full-time schedule with no weekend requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility to practice in Florida, including applicable Clinical Fellowship supervision requirements.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required for an otherwise strong fit.
• Warm, personable communication with children and families.
• Creative treatment ideas, flexibility, coachability and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to private-practice workflows.
If you’re excited about helping children communicate and want to learn more about this opportunity, apply or contact the recruiting team for a confidential conversation.
