Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales & Customer Support

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, providing application guidance and product recommendations.
• Support business development activities through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer consultations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding application requirements and proposing effective solutions.
• Assist customers in evaluating and implementing electrical insulation materials and related products.

Manufacturing & Process Optimization

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and product performance.
• Troubleshoot application and manufacturing issues related to adhesion, curing cycles, performance, and material compatibility.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
• Provide technical feedback to improve products and manufacturing processes.

Product Development & Innovation

• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new materials, coatings, resins, and insulation technologies.
• Assist with product testing, validation, and implementation activities.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, product engineering, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
• Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the transformer, electrical insulation, power distribution, or related industries.
• Knowledge of insulation materials, coatings, resins, laminates, varnishes, and curing processes.
• Experience supporting customers in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.
